UAD FreeForm Mode: the View field

Written by on January 27, 2015

Now that UAD has been out for several years, plenty of appraisers have the bulk of the UAD abbreviations and syntax memorized. Instead of using the Dynamic Field Expansions, enable TOTAL's FreeForm UAD Mode.

With FreeForm UAD Mode, you input all your data directly into the form, without the extra help from the field expansions. (The field expansions are still there, just use CTRL+Enter to turn it on for that field.) In fact, FreeForm Mode also makes use of UAD Shorthand, which can automatically fix certain abbreviation and syntax errors on-the-fly for you. This makes you faster while also keeping you accurate. Click here to see a full, printable list of UAD FreeForm Shorthand.

Turn on UAD FreeForm Mode in TOTAL or WinTOTAL Aurora in the "Forms" category of the settings. It's right there at the top.

And if you don't have a copy of TOTAL yet, click here to get started with a trial.
