Over a year ago, when we first started preparing our customers for UAD 3.6, we focused on how important "going mobile" would be to appraisers' success. We knew this new dataset couldn't be confined to a clipboard, so we invested a lot in this part of the process. The result is a photos-powered, mobile workflow that guides and supports you along each property inspection, without sacrificing appraiser control.
The new Photos PowerView in TOTAL for Mobile allows you to actually build out your report automatically as you take photos, eliminating the need to tap through the Form View and add photos to corresponding sections.
You choose how you want to work.
Option 1: Toggle on the "auto-open" setting, so the camera launches immediately upon selecting a feature or room type. Then you can add description data to your photos immediately after taking them, without interrupting your inspection workflow.
Option 2: Toggle off this feature to focus on building out your exhibit slots first, then capture the photos later.
We've also added a shortcut for capturing photos meant only for personal reference. Just tap "Quick Capture" to snap a picture without navigating to a specific report category and the photos will seamlessly and automatically sync directly to the your Workfile.
Note: This feature will roll out slowly over the coming week to different customers, so you might not see it right away.
