Mercury Network wins Mortgage Technology's Harnessing Mobile award

Written by on December 2, 2014

The leading appraisal management software platform, Mercury Network, was presented with Mortgage Technology Magazine's coveted "Harnessing Mobile" award on October 19th, the opening day of the 101st Annual Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Convention & Expo in Las Vegas. The Harnessing Mobile Award recognizes innovation in mobile technology for the mortgage industry. Mercury Network's free mobile application for appraisers, Mercury Mobile™ enables appraisal vendors to accept, decline, or negotiate appraisal orders from their iOS or Android mobile devices. With the free app, appraisers can immediately act on a Mercury Network client order, resulting in faster operations for any Mercury Network lender or AMC, and the elimination of lost opportunities for appraisers who are away from the office on field inspections. Mercury Mobile has had a significant and immediate impact on the efficiency of the entire industry since more than 600 lenders and AMCs use Mercury Network to manage more than 20,000 appraisal deliveries a day. The app also won PROGRESS in Lending's prestigious Innovations Award for its role in eliminating common delays in the appraisal process. "We're grateful for the honor from Mortgage Technology," said Jennifer Miller, president of Mercury Network. "Many mobile apps offer critical efficiency benefits for the industry, but Mercury Mobile is significant because of its reach. More appraisers use a la mode's software than all other brands combined, so Mercury Mobile has the training, support, and distribution infrastructure to arm the appraisal vendor population with the mobile benefits very quickly, and en masse."   Read more...
