Boost your productivity with these free Google Chrome extensions

Erica Tafavoti, an Inbound Marketer for our Pipeline ROI division, recently wrote an article for Inman News on six "must-install" Google Chrome extensions (click here to read it). The original post is geared toward REALTORs, but anyone can benefit from these free extensions. Here are a few we think are particularly helpful for appraisers looking to stay on track and save time:

• StayFocusd
  This is ideal if you find yourself browsing the Internet instead of finishing up your report. StayFocusd works by having you set a timer for how long you can browse certain sites. When time's up, StayFocusd blocks access to those sites for the rest of the day. There's even a setting to block your entire browser to focus on offline tasks like phone calls. • Pocket
  It's easy to lose a lot of time browsing articles online. You may start with a local news story but end up on YouTube in an endless cute cat video spiral an hour later. Here's where Pocket helps — just click the little icon at the top of your browser to save the article (or video or image) to read later. • TimeDoser
  This tool is helpful for keeping you on track as well as reminding you to take a break. Based on the Pomodoro Technique, it breaks your work into 25-minute chunks with a five-minute break in between.
