Automatic addresses for your photos

We saw last week how the QuickPix database in TOTAL makes it simple and easy to find all the photos you’ve taken of a property. But that leaves the question: How does TOTAL know which photos are for which addresses? If you use other formfilling software, if you even have a photos database, you’re probably used to sorting and separating your photos into folders manually, dealing with multiple screens and pop-up windows.

To make it easy to find all the photos you took of a property, TOTAL gives you several ways to assign an address to each photo.

The manual method, when importing photos using the QuickPix Importer, prompts you to assign an address to each individual photo before you import it. But even this step isn’t necessary.

Instead, make use of how TOTAL automatically assigns an address to each photo that you use in a report. Just import your photos without assigning any addresses, then simply click and drag your photos into place in the report like normal. TOTAL automatically adds the address to each photo for you, including adding the description of front, rear, street or interior – depending where on the photo pages you put each image.

You have to put the photos in the report anyway, so the best part of all is that this process is no extra clicks, let alone a manual process with a bunch of clicks and typing.

Try this in your next TOTAL report.
