Automatically add photos to your report, even in the field

Written by on January 21, 2014

Most appraisers take a ton of pictures, with multiples from the same angle to make sure they get just the right shot for their report. Taking all the pictures, importing them from your camera or photo card, and manually placing them on photo pages ends up eating a lot of time. You may not realize how much time you’re losing because you’re used to the process.

One of the shortcuts you get with TOTAL for Mobile is the ability to take photos from the app and add them directly to your photo pages. You can take as many photos as you want and add them to any photo form. Every photo page in TOTAL is available for use in TOTAL for Mobile, including, for example, the 15-photo addendum page (popular for interior photos). It makes more sense to take pictures this way since you can see how it looks and immediately decide if you want to re-take it or not.

When you sync your field notes back into TOTAL, all your photos are already in-place on your report’s photo pages, no uploading, transferring, or placement necessary.
