Bring in non-lender clients with a better homepage
Written by a la mode on November 26, 2013
If you're not already marketing yourself to drum up high fee, non-lender business, now is the time to start. As we've covered in a previous post (click here to read), marketing yourself to non-lender clients like homeowners, attorneys, and CPAs can keep you busy year-round, including when the mortgage market is down like it is now.
An easy place to start is to make sure your XSite's homepage is up-to-date and as detailed as possible. Specifically, by clearly defining your service area and what kind of appraisals you offer, you ensure that your site is easy for search engines to find. Plus, you'll keep visitors from leaving since all the info they need is easy to find.
For example, most people use specific terms when searching for a particular service. So, an attorney searching for an "estate appraiser in Lake County" is more likely to land on your site if your homepage has those keywords in it. The sooner they find the information they need, the more likely they are to order.
The video above shows you how to make your content changes on your XSite's homepage. For more information about working with your XSite, you can click here to see our previous posts.
