Simplified syncing options coming to TOTAL for Mobile

Sync from the Appraisal Desktop and open reports
We’re updating TOTAL to make syncing more visible and accessible. The next release will integrate the upload and download options directly from the Appraisal Desktop and open reports. The addition brings the cloud a step closer to your reporting workflow and makes it easier for you to move reports between your desktop and mobile devices.

Are you a PhoenixMobile user? Just specify PhoenixMobile as your default mobile app in TOTAL and the new upload/download options will work for that, too.

Automatic matching to your source report
While we were at it, we also streamlined the download process to remove some clicks. For example, when you download a report, TOTAL will check if the report already exists on the desktop. If it does, it will select that one by default when you merge.

Merge into closed reports
And we’ve added the ability to merge into closed reports from the Appraisal Desktop. So you’ll no longer have to make sure a report is open before you download it.

You’ll see these enhancements in the next TOTAL update, and they're just the first of a number of improvements to TOTAL for Mobile Sync and the cloud. Stay tuned for our coming SmartSync feature that will streamline things even further by sending your reports to the cloud automatically.
