Custom integrations now possible without expensive negotiation or development costs as part of company's new Vendor Integration Platform
Chicago /PRNewswire/ -a la mode's revolutionary SureDocs e-document application, already in use by more than 4,000 mortgage originators, can now be seamlessly integrated with any back office management system on a totally custom basis, with the release of a new freely available SureDocs Application Programming Interface, or API.
a la mode, one of the most mission critical and influential technology companies in the real estate industry, made the announcement in conjunction with the debut of its Vendor Integration Platform (VIP) at the Mortgage Bankers Association Conference & Expo here. More than 100,000 real estate professionals utilize a la mode's desktop and server-side applications to complete real estate transactions.
a la mode's new VIP initiative spans all of its divisions, opening up all of its appraisal, mortgage, agent, and inspection products to third-party enhancements. Under the VIP system, application vendors or lender IT staff can integrate and extend a la mode products via simple click-through agreements on the a la mode website.
After signing up for VIP, full specifications of the XML-based integration methods are accessible online for each of the specific APIs, such as those for SureDocs. All vendors maintain complete control over their own pricing, distribution, and support, further enhancing the value proposition of the VIP initiative.
Via the SureDocs-specific API, any lender or vendor can begin seamlessly integrating ESIGN and UETA compliant e-signed mortgage documents from the thousands of originators already using SureDocs.
SureDocs was designed from the ground up to be simple and inexpensive for originators to deploy, with a retail-style approach to distribution and a flat annual fee for unlimited documents. It is seamlessly compatible with all existing LOS systems via reliable PDF document creation and data layout recognition. It broke new ground by being understandable and comfortable in the eyes of borrowers, and now, in terms of being easy to connect to back-end systems using industry standard MISMO XML and web services.
Speaking to lenders and service providers, Brad Eaton, a la mode's Vice President of Mortgage Products noted that "Chances are, you're already accepting SureDocs documents as PDFs but aren't using the advanced features inherent in the embedded MISMO XML. Our Vendor Integration Program lets you access that data and route the documents and certificates directly into your backend system."
"There are no complicated rules, contracts or development projects," he added. "It's really just a couple of clicks. The minimal work in negotiation or development results in huge rewards as you tap into the SureDocs infrastructure.
"It's saving thousands of originators time and money, and it's eliminating errors associated with re-typing faxed sheets. Now it brings access to those grassroots benefits up to the enterprise level."
