a la mode honored as Top 25 national Mortgage Technology vendor
Written by a la mode on June 29, 2006
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – a la mode was honored this month with inclusion on the annual Mortgage Technology magazine list of the "Top 25 Mortgage Technology Vendors," confirming its role as one of the most mission critical and influential technology companies in the real estate industry.
In previous years, Mortgage Technology provided a broader compilation of the top 100 technology companies in the industry. For 2006, the editors reduced it to two targeted "Top 25 Service Providers" and "Top 25 Vendors" lists.
a la mode was a mainstay on previous Top 100 lists and was pleased to make the more rigorous cut in 2006, since many well-known and heavily marketed firms did not. a la mode is in the company of industry heavy-hitters such as Calyx Software and Fiserv on the Vendors list.
"It's easy for any company to call itself a ‘technology leader', but it's the independent, objective scrutiny such as this which separates the players from the pretenders," said Dave Biggers, a la mode's founder and chairman.
"In all of our markets, we've shown that we provide the optimal combination of cutting-edge technology, round-the-clock service, and rock-solid infrastructure," Biggers continued. "Our clients and prospects see the advantages just as clearly as the Mortgage Technology editors have, which is why we continue to grow rapidly even as the mortgage market cools and as other vendors see their own relevance rapidly waning."
The editors cited a la mode's debut of its new SureDocs digital mortgage document creator and e-signature system as an important reason for the honor. SureDocs integrates with the company's flagship Mortgage XSites website system, or can be used as a self-contained e-signature platform with full Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) privacy and security compliance built in. They also noted a la mode's overwhelming dominance in appraisal technology, providing mortgage lenders nationwide with LOS XML data integration, automated status messaging, and guidelines-compliant final reports.
