a la mode’s new Community Partnerships Program to promote appraiser advocacy

Written by on May 29, 2014

a la mode announced today their new Community Partnerships Program for supporting real estate appraisers and appraiser organizations on the local, state, and national level.

The Community Partnership Program gives appraiser organizations tools to grow their ranks, reduce member and operating costs, and increase visibility.  This is done through software discounts for members, affinity partnerships that give a portion of member purchases to the organization, partnered education courses, and sponsorship of organization events.

“It’s nothing new that a la mode supports appraisers and appraisal organizations.  We’re just taking that support multiple steps further in a way that no other vendor can,” said Matthew Biggers, director of community partnerships. “We’ll support every organization any way we can regardless of how many of its members use our products.  This effort transcends software boundaries.  We believe our investment in the endurance of the appraisal industry is unrivaled.”

a la mode’s primary focus will be on helping the grassroots, state, and local-level organizations.

“The focus used to be at the federal level, and now it’s at the state level (and with good reason),” Biggers said. “Those reasons all harp on the same core aspect: states understand their jurisdictions better and act faster – and with greater effect – to address the needs and problems affecting those in their market.  No one in this industry wants a ‘one size fits all’ solution to the problems they face in their local markets.  Our focus is protecting appraisers’ means of earning a living.  After all, property appraisals are critical to the nation’s economy.”
