JVI Appraisal Division chooses Mercury Network for superior appraisal management and Native XML

Written by on February 8, 2011

Oklahoma City, OK – a la mode announced today that JVI Appraisal Division, LLC has now enhanced their FNC-based appraisal management operations by integrating a la mode’s Mercury Network Vendor Management Platform.  The addition of the Mercury Network results in greater quality control for JVI, JVI appraisers, and JVI clients.

JVI’s Mercury Network integration connects them with a la mode’s presence on the desktop of over half the nation’s real estate appraisers.  Thousands of client-specific and customizable rules can be executed on the appraisers’ desktop before the report is delivered to JVI.  This will result in streamlined operations, superior final appraisal reports, and reduced turn times.

“We are thrilled to work with Mercury Network because it will increase the efficiency of our appraisers and review appraisers”, said Hank Pruett, Chief Operating Officer for JVI. “At JVI, every report is reviewed by an in house JVI appraiser, and this integration will allow us to focus on review of value and critical analysis issues, rather than the common errors and omissions that can easily be corrected before the appraiser delivers the report to us.  This integration was a clear choice because we didn’t have to change any of our current procedures or valued partners, but rather we simply added a layer that significantly streamlines both the appraisers and our efficiency.”

“Many AMCs use Mercury Network only, and others use Mercury Network plugins in an “a la carte” fashion that integrate with their current systems,” said Jennifer Miller, Executive Vice President of Products for a la mode’s Mortgage Solutions Division. “Our plugin partners see benefits that range from enhanced quality control like JVI, to Native XML for the GSE’s UMDP portal, to professional front end appraisal ordering portals for their clients, and many more.”

a la mode’s Mercury Network is the nation’s premiere online Vendor Management Platform, or VMP, allowing lenders and AMCs to manage their appraisal workflow while being compliant with banking security and GSE regulations.  Mercury combines a cloud-based SaaS core with a robust appraiser desktop plugin architecture that automates the appraiser’s data flow to and from clients and allows AMCs to “mix and match” the features they need.  Mercury is used by a lengthy roster of the nation’s largest lenders and AMCs, as well as by numerous community banks, credit unions, wholesale and correspondent lenders, and mortgage brokers.  It’s been used by more than 200,000 mortgage professionals since 2002 to completely automate the full “round trip” of tens of millions of appraisals.
