WCA chooses Mercury Network to streamline compliant appraisal deliveries

Written by on January 19, 2012

a la mode announced today that Wilson’s Computer Applications, Inc. (WCA) has connected their appraisers with Mercury Network via a Mercury Direct plugin.  Appraisers using WCA’s formfilling software, RealEasy Appraisals™, are now directly connected to the nation’s largest lenders and appraisal management companies (AMCs) for streamlined delivery of UAD-compliant Native XML appraisal reports.

Appraisers using WCA’s software will be able to accept and deliver appraisal orders from Mercury Network’s lenders and AMCs, including industry leaders such as ApprasialPort, LSI, CoreLogic, StreetLinks, Axios, Clear Capital, JVI, and more.  WCA appraisers will have the same innovative technology as a la mode’s appraiser clients, ensuring UAD-compliant appraisal delivery, eliminating delays and errors for lenders and AMCs as they submit loan files to the GSEs.

“We’re thrilled to welcome WCA appraisers to Mercury Network”, said Jennifer Miller, President of a la mode’s Mortgage Solutions Division. “WCA’s commitment to providing their appraiser clients with the tools to be more profitable and efficient is evident.  In fact, we hope other formfilling vendors follow suit by becoming MercuryDirect plugin partners.”

WCA’s president Philip M.  Wilson added, “We are pleased to be a part of the a la mode network and provide the MercuryDirect plugin to our customers enabling streamlined, UAD compliant appraisal deliveries.  Our plugin with Mercury Network connects our appraisers to the largest appraisal vendor management platform, positioning them to deliver error-free reports to a very large list of the nation’s biggest lenders and AMCs.  It’s clear that the easiest and fastest way to help our appraiser clients get more business is to connect them with Mercury Network.”

a la mode’s Mercury Network is the nation’s premiere Vendor Management Platform in the appraisal and BPO industries, offering both interfaceless “black box” MercuryDirect services and APIs, as well as “turn key” MercuryManaged web front ends for use by loan officers and compliance staff.  It’s used in both capacities by a lengthy roster of the nation’s largest lenders and AMCs, as well as by numerous community banks, credit unions, wholesale and correspondent lenders, and mortgage brokers, simplifying full compliance with appraisal independence standards and banking security regulations.  It’s been used by more than 200,000 mortgage professionals since 2002 to automate the full “round trip” of tens of millions of appraisals.  For more information, visit www.MercuryVMP.com.
