Mercury Network evolves into bigger, better XSites Network

If you've been using the Mercury Network to order appraisals from our nationwide network of real estate appraisers, you may have noticed a few changes last week. That's because we officially flipped the switch to change the Mercury Network over to the new XSites Network, making your life considerably easier.

As the name implies, the new network is centered on XSites owners. Between our Mortgage, Agent, Appraiser and Inspector XSites, there are nearly 20,000 professionals in the network who have the ability to do business with one another. And because the network includes XSite owners who have many of the same sophisticated transaction management and collaboration tools as you do, you can be assured that any business you do will be seamless.

With appraisers in every county of every state, the "new" XSites Network makes it easier than ever to order an appraisal. You can order it, monitor its progress, and view the finished report all from your XSite. Appraisers run errors and omissions checks against their reports before they send them along. Once the report passes the review, a PDF is generated and sent to your Mortgage XSite. Your XSite saves it to the right loan folder and sends you an instant status update letting you know the report is ready.

Plus, we'll also be expanding your vendor management capabilities in the future to include credit, title and flood certifications. When you place an order through the XSites Network, you and your clients will receive status updates from the time the order is accepted until the report is delivered to the loan file.

Now, more than ever, your Mortgage XSite is the central hub of your daily interactions with prospects, clients, vendors, and other real estate professionals.
