XSites’ new Listings Publisher maximizes your listings exposure

This week we're releasing a new feature, Listings Publisher, on your real estate XSite websites that will allow your listings to get more exposure than they you ever could using just an MLS.

Listings Publisher works much like an RSS feed. You may have heard the phrase "RSS feed" tossed around on blogs and online news sites. RSS is a method of distributing (or feeding) website content to other sites to use. In other words, it's a way to syndicate content so you reach a wider audience.

We thought that RSS technology would work well with our Agent XSites customers' property listings. As you know, today's sellers are looking for agents with an extended marketing presence who can advertise their listings in multiple places on the Internet. With Listings Publisher, you'll have the ability to "feed" or push your listings to thousands of potential buyers who may never have seen them otherwise – absolutely free and with no additional work.

Listings Publisher options are available when creating or editing a listing. By clicking "Publish on Oodle," your listings will be featured on Oodle.com, one of the most popular search engines for local classifieds. We'll eventually add more search sites including Trulia.com, Craigslist.com, Google.com and Yahoo.com.
