Automatically fill out your addenda

Written by on August 20, 2013

Finish your custom addendum faster by linking sections of your report to it. See how in the one minute video above.

Real life example: You have a standard addendum you usually attach to each of your reports. The bulk of the text stays the same, but you have to change certain sections, like the lender and borrower names, on every new report. This is time-consuming, even if you use a "Find and Replace All" tool which doesn't catch typos.

Instead of wasting time repeating your steps and risking mistakes, use TOTAL to link report fields to your addenda. For example, every time you want to use the lender's name, just link that field from the form to the correct spot in your addendum. The lender's name is automatically pulled from what you have in your report. If the name is changed in the report, it's instantly updated in the addendum too.

Just add this addendum to your template reports to use it every time.

Note to WinTOTAL and TOTAL 2011 users: The instructional video above shows how to link report fields to addenda in TOTAL 2013, but the steps are the same for WinTOTAL and TOTAL 2011 as well.
