In 1985 (a full three years before the USPAP was established) a la mode was founded with one goal: to use technology to improve appraisers' experience. Over the last 4 decades that company became a leader in the industry, while striving to maintain that original vision.
Remember when a la mode software came on discs?
In that time we have seen a lot of change, from the devices appraisers use, to shifting federal regulations, and transitions in corporate structure. One thing that hasn’t changed is our innovative culture and commitment to the user experience.
Here are just a few newer additions to our tool set that we believe illustrate those values:
Titan Reports - work from anywhere via browser, back up your files and sync between users on the same account
QuickSource - import multiple sources of raw data into one place where it can be easily compared, sorted and automatically inserted into the right parts of your report
ScanToSketch - using LiDAR technology already on your iPhone or iPad, automatically sketch an interior or exterior space without any additional measuring tools
While new products can enrich and expedite the appraisal process, it is just as important to ensure our customers feel confident using them. That's why we have prioritized providing low cost, one-to-one training along with free webinars, help docs and award-winning, live tech support.
A lot has changed over the years, but not Joel.
In 2011, a la mode (along with the rest of the industry) needed to adopt to a new set of guidelines: UAD 2.6. This meant adjusting our software, but also helping our customers adapt. This time around we have leaned in hard to both once again, offering Tech Tips, webinars, roadshow appearances and CE for in-depth training.
UAD 3.6 is just around the corner. Make sure you're prepared by exploring our UAD resource page, as well as our in-depth Timeline, which details when all the features and tools you know and love will be available in the new report.
