This month, we released our Launch Edition of TOTAL for our entire user base, who can now take UAD 3.6 orders and deliver them back to clients!
As you can see in our timeline, we will be incorporating other features, tools, and integrations throughout the year, but I wanted to answer some questions for our “early adopters” who are ready to start now.
Here are a few questions from our Q&A chat during the event:
Q: Do I need to start my reports on mobile before visiting the property?
A: The workflow for mobile doesn’t change. You can sync a report from TOTAL, or start a new one on Mobile.
Q: How do you get the sketch square footage to populate into the report?
A: Right now you input area calculations manually. We are reconfiguring the sketchers in both TOTAL and TOTAL for Mobile to report areas using the new UAD 3.6 terminology.
Q: Will we be able to import this info from Spark eventually?
A: Yes. We're working on the integration toolkit that all the 3rd party tools will be able to use to integrate their data into the new UAD dataset in TOTAL.
Q: Why are some fields purple?
A: This indicates where multiple data entry points are combined into one field as part of the UAD specifications.
Q: How many characters will the comment section allow?
A: It depends on the section. Usually it's 5,000. Remember that a lot of what you’ve been putting into a general text addendum will now go into specific commentary fields in sections across the new report.
Q: Do you have a list of all possible UAD fields and list of possible responses?
A: All of the responses are already built into the form on screen, but if you want the full list in a document, the GSE’s Appendix C-1 is where to look.
Q: Can I use Titan Analytics?
A: We're wrapping up the Titan Analytics upgrade in the next month or so.
Q: Is UAD 3.6 available on my phone?
A: The 3.6 report is on both Apple and Android.
