How to convert competitor files with TOTAL

When switching from another formfiller to TOTAL, you can bring a lot of your data from your older program with you. Just use the Competitor Conversion Plugin from the Tools menu in the Appraisal Desktop. After the plugin is installed, select the files and data you want to convert. This includes report files, your comps database, and canned comments. Watch the video above for a step-by-step demonstration.

If you were using ACI, you'll notice that your ACI reports are formatted to prevent them from transferring. However, TOTAL can convert the property information from your ACI comps database as well as all of your UAD XML files, which will become new reports inside TOTAL.
