Partial-Field QuickLists
Written by Marketing on April 3, 2012
Our most popular Weekly Tech Tip so far is still our first one, about Multi-field QuickLists, which let you fill out more than one field at a time using a simple shortcut. Today, we’ll go in the reverse direction to create partial-field QuickLists. Both types of QuickLists save you time and make filling out the forms easier. They can also help keep your terminology and phrasing more consistent from one report to the next.
You can use partial-field QuickLists to make your responses quicker for:
- Partial sentences
- Whole sentences
- Entire paragraphs
…and when you use them in a multi-line field, WinTOTAL (by default) won't immediately take you to the next field so you can just continue typing – or even use another partial-field QuickList.
