Tech Tip Special Edition: Things you didn’t know about TOTAL for Mobile — Multi-line Fields
Written by a la mode on August 2, 2016
In the clipboard-and-paper process, you learned to keep your written comments brief, and to-the-point while you were in the field. You took good notes, but you often didn’t take the time to write out multiple paragraphs for comments on your clipboards – that was for later, back in the office when you could type and have access to your common responses, or QuickLists, in TOTAL.
See TOTAL for Mobile's Multi-line Fields in action here.
With TOTAL for Mobile, you have access to all of your longer common responses (or we often call it "Multi-line Fields") – including all your custom-written sentences, paragraphs, and phrases while in the field. Don’t stay focused on the one-word or short-answer form fields – Use TOTAL for Mobile to fill out the larger comment fields in the form while you’re on inspection, rather than waiting until the next day. With this feature, you’ll be faster and more accurate.
And, of course, use TOTAL for Mobile's QuickLists to simply add comments or Speech-to-text to dictate any customized texts right into the form.
TOTAL for Mobile's unlimited data gathering and syncing is included with your TOTAL Membership. Don't have TOTAL yet? Click here for a free 15-day trial and download TOTAL for Mobile app for free here.
